About

The UCSF PAB was established in alignment with the University of California Office of the President's systemwide community safety plan, and it is inspired by the UC Davis PAB, founded in 2014.

PAB comprises learners, faculty, and staff representing the campus and UCSF Health enterprises to ensure an inclusive, fair, and unbiased approach. Current or former police officers are not eligible to serve on the board.

PAB receives administrative support from the UCSF Office of Diversity and Outreach, led by Vice Chancellor and Chief Diversity and Outreach Officer, Renée Navarro, PharmD, MD, who also serves as PAB Chair.
